Game Update: House Likes, Mushroom Quests, and Shelves

Decoratopia continues to grow with more ways to interact, decorate, and explore. This update brings new items, new quests, smoother controls, and several visual and performance improvements to make your experience even better.

Teddy Bears now display house likes.

⭐ New Features

  • Teddy bears now let you like other players' houses and check how many likes your own house has received.
  • Two new quests are available that focus on collecting brown and red mushrooms.
  • Wood shelves have been added to the furniture shop.
  • You can now turn the camera by dragging with the left mouse button.
  • Nearby fish tanks now play ambient sound effects.

⚖️ Adjustments and Balancing

  • The number of red mushrooms needed for the “Need Some Spore” achievement has been lowered from 650 to 600.
  • Gardening quests and the quartz quest now reward more XP upon completion.
  • The grid for placing furniture has been reduced in size, allowing for more precise placement.
  • After leaving the cave, the camera now turns to face it automatically.
  • The trash can icon when selecting items has been replaced with an open box icon.
  • More dirt has been added around the cave area.
  • The blue car now has a higher quality appearance.
  • All five fishing hat upgrade images have been improved.
  • The basement images have been updated in the house upgrades menu.
  • The mouse popup now shows the left mouse button instead of the right.
  • Achievement spacing has been improved.
  • The game loads noticeably faster than before.

🛠️ Bug Fixes

  • Treasure maps and life rings can no longer be placed beneath the grass.
  • Items you’ve just unlocked will now appear correctly in the collection menu, without being gray.
  • Grown plants no longer appear prematurely when planting seeds or harvesting mushrooms.
  • Items you place will now rest properly on the ground instead of floating.
  • Car sounds will no longer play when there aren’t any cars nearby at other players’ houses.
  • Icons next to the shop timer are now visible again.
  • Dark lines no longer show up on the blue car or the fishing sign.
  • The sky near the mountains no longer has a gray section.
  • Baseboard trim no longer appears under the front door.
  • Flickering at the corner of the house's baseboard has been resolved.
  • The gap between the house's baseboard and the left wall has been fixed.
