Game Update: Penguin Pops, Toilets, and Better Graphics
The new trees, road, and patches in the grass.

This update brings new items, visual upgrades, and performance improvements across the board. From a chance to spot penguin pops to sweeping landscape updates, there’s a lot to explore in this version of Decoratopia.

The ice cream truck can now sell penguin pops.

⭐ New Features

  • The ice cream truck now occasionally offers penguin pops.
  • Toilets can now be purchased from the furniture shop.
  • Trees in the distance now sway with the wind.
  • A road has been added behind the pond.
  • Grass now includes lighter patches throughout it.
  • Sand now darkens as waves roll over it.

⚖️ Adjustments and Balancing

  • The star icon above the XP bar is now yellow.
  • Pumpkins have been redesigned and now cause less lag.
  • Flowers have been added behind the pond and buildings.
  • Small color tweaks have been made across many elements, including the fishing sign, roads, sidewalks, grass, and trees.
  • The fishing rod has been repositioned.
  • The loading screen is now brighter.
  • Computer chairs and desks have been resized to better fit with other furniture.
  • There's now more sand on the beach.
  • The waves and shoreline foam are now larger and feature smoother animations.
  • A visual divider has been added in the gardening shop to help organize its sections.
  • Overall loading and performance have been improved, especially on high graphics settings.

🛠️ Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where item names overlapped with other items.
  • Shoreline foam now darkens correctly when in the shade.
  • The background of the disconnected screen is no longer black.
  • Basement flooring can once again be changed to wood planks.
  • Items in large basements no longer clip through the walls.
  • The basement carpet color picker now displays the correct color when opened.
  • Fixed an issue where some upgrades showed the wrong progress indicator.
  • Pressing R to rotate items now works even when caps lock is on.
