Game Update: Progress Bar, Performance Boosts, and Wall Trims
Hello Decoratopia community!
We are thrilled to announce a new update for Decoratopia that brings a host of exciting features, performance enhancements, and bug fixes to make your gaming experience even more enjoyable. Here’s a detailed look at what’s new and improved in Decoratopia from 6/23/2024 to 7/26/2024.
New Features
- Collection Menu Progress Bar: Keep track of your collection progress more easily with the new progress bar in the collection menu.
- Total Items Collected Display: See your total number of collected items directly in the collection menu.
- Wall Trim: Enjoy the aesthetic enhancement with the addition of trim around the walls of each house.
Adjustments / Balancing
- Reduced Falling Leaves: There are now fewer leaves falling from each tree, making for a cleaner visual experience.
- Faster Loading Times: The game now loads much quicker, getting you into the action faster.
- Reduced Camera Lag: Experience less lag when turning the camera for the first time.
- Improved Loading Bar: The loading bar is now more accurate and moves smoother, giving you a better sense of game loading progress.
- Quest Reroll Cost Dash: A dash has been added to the cost to reroll quests to clearly indicate that Tokens will be subtracted.
- Major Performance Improvements: Enjoy a smoother gameplay experience with significant performance enhancements.
Bug Fixes
- Zoom Lag Fix: The game and home page no longer lag when zooming out of the browser on desktop devices.
- Consistent Object Sizes: Daisies, fire, bubbles, and falling leaves now maintain their size after zooming in or out of the browser.
- Landing Page Fixes: The fish and logo on the landing page no longer shift when zooming out of the browser.
- Fireplace Fix: Fire no longer clips through fireplaces.
- Correct Daisy Size: Daisies are now their intended size.
- Audio Fix in Cave: Cars can no longer be heard while inside the cave.
- Trim and Wall Gap Fix: There is no longer a gap between the floor's trim and the walls.
- Graphics Quality Fixes: Changing graphics quality in the cave or basement no longer reduces performance in the park, and excessive brightness issues after changing graphics quality have been resolved.
- Light and Tile Fix: Light shined on tiled walls now appears smooth.
- Fishing Crash Fix: The game no longer crashes when casting your fishing line or reeling in.
- Form Display Fix: Fixed an issue causing the login and create account forms to stack vertically on some devices.
- Mobile Orientation Fix: Changing orientation on mobile devices no longer causes the logo, fish, and seaweed on the home page to shift.
