Game Update: Treasure Maps, Mushrooms, and Compost

Spring has brought some exciting new discoveries to Decoratopia! From hidden treasure maps to composting your plants, this update is packed with features to explore, collectibles to catch, and tools to boost your gardening game.

Here's all of the changes from 4/5/2025 to 4/19/2025:

⭐ New Features

• Treasure maps, life rings, life jackets, and mossy logs can now be caught while fishing in the lake.
• Placed treasure maps can be toggled on to make treasure chests much easier to find.
• Mossy logs now grow two types of mushrooms that can be harvested periodically.
• Four new gardening achievements have been added, each with new rewards to unlock.
• Barrels, crates, and anvils can now be discovered in the cave.
• Compost bins are now available in the gardening shop.
• Plants can now be turned into compost using a compost bin.
• Compost can be used on all plants to speed up their growth.
• Items placed on walls now automatically hide when the wall is hidden.
• Pressing the Delete key while an item is selected now removes it.

⚖️ Adjustments and Balancing

• The fishing rod upgrade now only affects catching fish, not other items.
• The Decoratopia logo has been updated on every page.
• The description for the lion statue has been updated.
• The Christmas Tree has been renamed to Holiday Tree, with a new description to match.
• Minor performance enhancements across the game.

🛠️ Bug Fixes

• Bird sounds no longer play in the cave when music is muted.
• Fixed an issue that allowed items to be placed inside walls.
• Items can now be placed properly above the house’s first-floor walls.
• Items can no longer be placed between parts of the door.
• Shadows on the door no longer appear broken.
• Fish and worms now correctly display their feeding timers.
• Flowers no longer grow on the dirt path leading to the cave.
• The quartz price in the collection menu now updates correctly after purchasing a gem price upgrade.
