Game Update: VR Support, Larger Basements, and Menu Fixes
A brand-new round of home expansions and quality-of-life improvements has arrived in Decoratopia. This update brings more customization options for your house, a better-performing game experience, and a long list of bug fixes to keep everything running smoothly.
⭐ New Features
- You can now purchase a larger basement in the house upgrades menu.
- Four new floor and wall designs are now available to customize your space.
- Two new roof styles have been added for purchase.
- Audio can now be muted or unmuted by clicking the icon next to each volume slider.
⚖️ Adjustments and Balancing
- The furniture shop now shows 9 items at once instead of 6.
- The house upgrades menu has been reorganized, with house expansions moved to their own category.
- Shop menus have better spacing between items, and uniform buy button sizes across upgrade categories.
- Grass and dirt textures have been upgraded for higher visual quality.
- The token icon on locked collection items is no longer gray.
- The moving fog has been removed to improve performance.
- The game now loads faster and runs smoother, especially in menus.
- Major performance improvements have been made across the board.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
- Google sign-in works properly again.
- The mouse overlay no longer appears in VR headsets.
- Roofs and basement ceilings now display correctly after first loading the game.
- Other players' houses will no longer show your carpet color.
- The fishing timer now progresses at the correct speed.
- Pressing the achievements button no longer crashes the game on mobile.
- The collection menu no longer crashes on iPads.
- When changing your carpet color at another player’s house, your carpets now update properly when returning home.
- Flowers, leaves, bubbles, and fire effects now stay consistent in size, regardless of screen resolution.
- Square items in the collection menu no longer display with rounded corners.
- Sell buttons no longer overlap item prices in the shop.
- The collection, upgrade, and shop menus now scroll vertically instead of cutting off content.
- “First Floor” text in the house upgrades menu now fits on smaller screens.
- Quest names no longer get cut off on narrow screens.
- The mailbox is no longer white before interacting with the game.
- Cursor movement no longer causes as much lag.
