Game Update: Cooking Quests, Item Searching, and Garden Gnomes
If you have a lot of items, then this is the update for you. Item searching is here, as well as Garden Gnomes, Acoustic Guitars, and more.
There's a lot of changes, let's see the list!
⭐ New Features
- Decoratopia now has a wiki, and there is now a link to it in the settings menu.
- Cooking quests are now available for the appliances you've purchased.
- The items menu now has a search bar.
- Garden Gnomes can now be found while harvesting plants.
- The Acoustic Guitar is now unlocked at level 14.
- Fishing Nets can now be toggled on and off to ensure only real fish are caught.
⚖️ Adjustments / Balancing
- The empty mailbox menu now matches the rest of the menus.
- Unlocked items in the collection menu now have a better background.
- The Achievements category in the collection menu has been renamed to Awards.
- Item descriptions that mention Achievements have been updated to use Awards instead.
- Plant pots are now round instead of square.
- Tulips, Sunflowers, and the ice cream truck are now much higher quality.
- Lighting inside the house has been improved.
- The compost bin now shows the updated mushrooms and it now matches the rest of the interfaces.
- Major performance improvements, especially with lots of placed items.
🛠️Bug Fixes
- When items placed on walls disappear with the walls when turning the camera, any items placed on top of those items now also disappear.
- Fixed an issue preventing quests from updating.
- The Discord icon is no longer missing from the settings menu.
- When purchasing an item for the first time, the "1 Owned" text will now be the correct color green.
- Fixed multiple bugs related to placing items.
- Cherry floats are no longer partially invisible.
- Cooked food is now visible after loading the game.
- The chef hat upgrade images no longer overlap with the upgrade name.
- Fish no longer freeze after visiting multiple houses.
- The game no longer crashes when changing your display name to something inappropriate.
- The close button is no longer gray when playing the game using Brave on mobile devices.
We've heard Garden Gnomes are super rare, so keep an eye out!
